In 2008, Bob was invited by North Dakota First Lady, Mikey Hoeven, to speak at the Republican Convention prayer breakfast. After the people had left and the event was a success, Mikey shared her thoughts about his presentation. “He truly has a gift of connecting with his audience that leaves and indelible heart print,” she stated.
